A few days ago, I released a poem called I Accept It.
And today, I understood it on another level.
This morning started heavy. Before I could fully gather myself, life was already demanding something from me. Fear tried to show up first. Pressure tried to show up first. Uncertainty tried to show up first.
But I kept moving.
I handled what was in front of me.
I prayed.
I made the calls.
I kept my commitments.
I followed up.
I kept working.
And then, one by one, things started shifting.
A conversation opened.
An opportunity moved forward.
Help became available.
A path started becoming clearer.
And while I was still out working and doing what I needed to do, I kept being reminded of the same thing:
Stay anchored. Keep moving.
That is what I Accept It means to me in this season.
I accept that I do not need every answer before I move.
I accept that faith does not cancel strategy.
I accept that patience is part of obedience.
I accept that I can trust God and still do the work.
I accept that some things happen suddenly only because there were countless quiet moments of obedience before the reveal.
The praying.
The waiting.
The applying.
The working.
The crying.
The regrouping.
The getting back up.
The believing when nothing looked different yet.
And then suddenly, movement.
Suddenly, clarity.
Suddenly, provision.
Suddenly, another reason to keep going.
You gotta be delusional enough to believe in God.
Logical enough to have strategy.
And obedient enough to stay patient.
Faith gives me vision.
Logic gives me a plan.
Obedience gives me timing.
And today reminded me that I can praise and prepare at the same time.
I can believe and work at the same time.
I can be grateful and still keep building.
I can accept the blessing without abandoning the mission.
I do not have to know the whole ending to keep walking like God is still writing the story.
I accept it. 💜
