Healing. Growing. Becoming—mind, body, and soul.
Welcome.
If you found your way here, let me start by telling you something:
You do not have to have it all figured out to begin becoming.
I know I didn’t.
Healing & Hustling wasn’t created because I woke up one morning completely healed, completely disciplined, completely confident, financially secure, spiritually mature, and ready to teach everybody else how to live.
Baby, absolutely not. 😂
I built this while I was becoming.
I built while healing.
I wrote while hurting.
I worked out while rebuilding my confidence.
I prayed while questioning.
I mothered while learning how to mother myself.
I created while life was chaotic.
And somewhere in the middle of all of that, I realized something:
The things I was creating to help heal myself could help somebody else heal too.
That’s where this space comes from.
This Is Bigger Than Fitness
Yes, we’re going to talk about our bodies.
We’re going to move.
We’re going to work out.
We’re going to climb some mountains—and apparently some of those mountains are going to have my legs feeling like noodles. 😂
But Healing & Hustling has never been about simply changing what you see in the mirror.
Because I learned something during my own transformation:
You can change your body and still have a mind that needs healing.
You can lose weight and still carry insecurity.
You can look strong and still abandon yourself.
You can accomplish incredible things and still question whether you’re enough.
You can take care of everybody around you and completely forget that you are somebody who needs care too.
That’s why we’re working on all of it here.
Mind. Body. Soul.
Because I don’t just want transformation that photographs well.
I want transformation that lives well.
Faith Is the Foundation
You’re going to hear me talk about God here.
A lot. 😂
Because I can’t tell my story without Him.
My faith isn’t something I’m adding to my brand because it sounds good.
It’s my anchor.
There have been seasons when I didn’t understand what God was doing.
There have been seasons when fear was louder than faith.
There have been times when I tried to carry everything myself because somewhere along the way I learned that survival meant figuring it out.
But God has been teaching me something different:
I don’t have to be Superwoman to be responsible.
I can work and trust.
I can plan and pray.
I can have faith and use wisdom.
I can rest and still be productive.
And I can acknowledge what’s happening in my real life without allowing my circumstances to determine what I believe about my future.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
— 2 Timothy 1:7
That power, love, and sound mind?
We’re going to talk about all three.
Becoming Requires Truth
I’m not interested in pretending healing is pretty.
Sometimes becoming means admitting:
I abandoned myself there.
Sometimes it’s:
I stayed too long.
Sometimes:
I knew better, but I wasn’t ready to do better yet.
And sometimes the breakthrough is simply:
I don’t want to live like this anymore.
That’s where transformation starts.
Not shame.
Truth.
Because once I can see something, I can address it.
Once I understand the root, I can stop treating only the symptoms.
Once I recognize the pattern, I can make a different decision.
Romans 12:2 tells us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.
That’s work.
And that’s becoming.
We Got It Out the Mud
If you’ve followed me for any amount of time, you’ve probably heard pieces of my story.
There have been losses.
Heartbreak.
Motherhood.
Financial struggles.
Career changes.
Relationships.
Boundaries.
Education.
Fitness.
Business.
Books.
Faith.
Starting over.
And starting over again.
But here’s what I’m learning:
I don’t have to be ashamed of the mud.
That’s where the roots grew.
🌱
Recently I said something that stopped me in my own tracks:
Survival taught me how to dig deep.
Purpose taught me what I’m digging for.
And then came the next revelation:
Well, you’ve dug long enough to plant some things. Let them grow.
THAT is the season I’m in.
And maybe you’re there too.
Maybe you’ve already done some digging.
Maybe you’ve already survived some things.
Maybe you’ve already cried enough tears over something God is asking you to finally release.
Maybe the question isn’t “How do I survive?” anymore.
Maybe it’s:
“What am I going to grow now?”
That’s Why This Blog Exists
The Becoming Blog is where we’re going to talk about the process while we’re actually in the process.
Not five years later when everything looks pretty.
Right here.
We’re talking faith.
Fitness.
Healing.
Motherhood.
Boundaries.
Self-love.
Purpose.
Business.
Money.
Relationships.
Discipline.
Rest.
Fear.
Confidence.
And those random revelations God gives me while I’m driving around minding my business. 😂
We’re going to celebrate victories.
We’re going to examine lessons.
We’re going to pull out Scripture.
We’re going to challenge old thinking.
We’re going to move our bodies.
We’re going to build.
We’re going to rest when rest is required.
And most importantly:
We’re going to become without abandoning ourselves in the process.
You don’t need to become me.
I’m not trying to become somebody else.
We’re becoming the fullest versions of who God created us to be.
And we’re doing it together.
Welcome to Healing & Hustling
This isn’t about perfection.
It’s about progression with intention.
It’s understanding that healing and hustling don’t have to fight each other.
Sometimes the hustle is showing up.
Sometimes the healing is sitting down.
Wisdom is learning the difference.
So welcome to my little corner of the internet.
Bring your faith.
Bring your questions.
Bring your goals.
Bring your scars.
Bring your dreams.
Bring the version of yourself you’re proud of—and bring the version you’re still learning how to love.
She can come too.
There’s room here.
Because we’re planting.
We’re watering.
We’re pruning.
We’re growing.
And we’re learning to stop digging up the seed every five minutes asking God whether it’s working. 😂🌱
The process is processing.
Let it.
Welcome to The Becoming Blog.
Welcome to Healing & Hustling 333.
You are healing.
You are growing.
You are becoming.
And baby…
We’re just getting started. 💜
